Sithonia is the middle peninsula of Halkidiki in Northern Greece.

It lies west of Mount Athos and east of Kassandra in the district of Macedonia. Sithonia is accessible easily by car from Thessaloniki. In Sithonia are many beautiful beaches and the nature seams untouched and is very green. It is organised by the locals every first week of September where thousands of people come to the village in order to participate in the event. The feast of Agios Mamas is being characterised for its strong commercial and cultural interest. It is estimated that every September come to Agios Mamas more than 1000 exhibitors and over 200000 visitors.
