Toroni of Halkidiki is a coastal village in south-western side of Sithonia which extends along a vast sandy beach with shallow and calm water. It’s 26 km away from Neos Marmaras and 128 km from Thessaloniki Makedonia Airport. It’s located before the beautiful village of Porto Koufo which we recommend you to visit in order to try the fresh fish in the picturesque taverns of its harbor.

In Toroni, along the main coastal road there are shops, restaurants and pizzerias and supermarkets as well. Also on the beach there are many beach bars where you can enjoy swimming during the day and a refreshing drink in the evening.

Toroni, however, was also one important city in back in ancient times. Ancient Toroni was built in the 8th-7th century BC from Halkidis residents. Today is preserved part of the city walls which you can visit.
